In fact this gesture is unacceptable in certain states of Africa as the ministers and business people do not like to deal with a woman.

Staring into the eyes straight on like this would not be well percieved in China, Thailand , the phillipines or Korea or Malaysia.

Too arrogant and rude. In thailand it would be traditional to wait until invited by the elder and higher status of individuals to adress or even look at them sheepishly.
